The 2023 Morocco Earthquake: Crustal deformation detected by ALOS-2 data
M6.8 (USGS) earthquake occurred in Morocco on September 8, 2023 (UTC). To measure the crustal deformation caused by this earthquake, we applied interferometric analysis using ALOS-2/PALSAR-2 data. The analysis clearly revealed the spatial distribution of crustal deformation.
*Concentrated twin crustal deformations in the bottom part of the figure seem to be irrevalent to earthquake.
