Release of five new sheets of Active Fault Map in Urban Area showing detailed locations of active faults.

2017-08-24: GSI published five new sheets of 1:25000 Active Fault Map in Urban Area on August 24.
Maps released are “NAKATSUGAWA” and “ENA” for Byobuyama-Enasan Fault Zone and Sanageyama Fault Zone and their vicinity;
“HIKONE-TOBU” and “GOZAISHOYAMA“ for Suzuka-seien Active Fault and its vicinity;
and “TOYOOKA” for Beppu-Haneyama Fault Zone and its vicinity.
